NOVICE OBEDIENCE CLASS
Taught by seasoned obedience competitors and trainers,
this class is designed to prepare dog and
handler to compete in AKC Novice obedience and earn the
title Companion Dog. The focus of this class will be
teaching and proofing the exercises which make up the
AKC test for the Companion Dog title.
Obtaining a CD (Companion Dog) is contingent upon the
successful completion of the following exercises at 3
obedience trials under 3 different judges:
Heel on lead
Figure 8 (on lead)
Stand for examination
Recall
Heel free
1 minute sit and stay
3 minute down and stay
